"Today we honour the more than 26,000 Canadians who served in the Korean War and the 516 Canadians who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our shared values of freedom, democracy and the rule of law," Canada's Veteran Affairs Minister Greg Thompson said yesterday at Meadowvale Cemetery.
